Handcrafted from fine Amakusa porcelain in Hasami, Japan. Finished in hardwearing, food-safe glaze and fired to full vitrification at 1300°C.

Perfect for anything with plenty of liquid, from porridge and granola to smaller servings of soup or broth.

It also doubles beautifully as serveware for small salads, roast potatoes, crisps, or fries.

Outside of mealtimes, it works just as well as a fruit bowl for citrus, an ikebana vessel, or a catch-all for keys and daily essentials. 

Softedge tableware is designed with durability and daily use in mind. Dishwasher and microwave-safe.

When stacking, small scratches may occur where glazed and unglazed surfaces come into contact.

To avoid scratches, ideally, your porcelain will either be stored in plate racks or with linen/felt between each item. Alternatively, we recommend stacking the plates face-to-face and base-to-base.
