Handcrafted from fine Amakusa porcelain in Hasami, Japan. Finished in hardwearing, food-safe glaze and fired to full vitrification at 1300°C.

For meals that like to stretch out — too saucy for a plate, not quite suited to a bowl. Perfect for pasta, risotto, braises, stews, or hearty salads, it gives modern plating room to breathe and looser sauces space to shine.

It’s equally at home holding generous family-style sides, grilled meats or vegetables — or stealing the spotlight with a sculptural stack of fruit. 

Softedge tableware is designed with durability and daily use in mind. Dishwasher and microwave-safe.

When stacking, small scratches may occur where glazed and unglazed surfaces come into contact.

To avoid scratches, ideally, your porcelain will either be stored in plate racks or with linen/felt between each item. Alternatively, we recommend stacking the plates face-to-face and base-to-base.
